About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Lunar Book Collection, Lunar Orchid is composed of 54% polyester and 46% cotton and is specified for Severe Contract Upholstery And Drapes. The fabric has a 50,000 Severe Contract rub test rating, a width of 140cm, and a substantial weight of 459 grams per linear metre / 340 grams per square metre. Visually, the colour is a muted pink-lilac with a dusty orchid cast, softened by the woven texture so it feels low-key rather than bright. The surface has a matte, linen-like grain that catches light evenly across the swatch, adding depth without obvious pattern.

How to use it

This shade works well with chalk white, pale oak and brushed brass for a gentle, tailored look. It can also soften deeper plum, walnut or charcoal schemes by adding a muted floral note.
