About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has a relaxed handle that suits both curtains and upholstery projects. The horizontal and vertical pattern repeats are both 68.5cm, giving the large-scale trailing design room to show its full rhythm. In this colourway, the purple blossoms are gentle and cool-toned rather than vivid, so the print feels light, fresh and slightly romantic against the creamy base. Dry clean only, with iron safe care; do not use bleach or fabric softener, and do not tumble dry.

How to use it

Use Mariposa Purple for statement curtains, a feature chair or ottoman, or cushions layered into a soft country-inspired scheme. Its lilac tones work especially well with stone, chalk white and pale timber finishes.

Pair with natural woods and quiet neutrals to let the painterly wisteria and butterflies lead the room.
