About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has a relaxed handle that suits both curtains and upholstery projects. The horizontal and vertical pattern repeats are both 68.5cm, giving the large-scale trailing design room to show its full rhythm. In this colourway, the purple blossoms are gentle and cool-toned rather than vivid, so the print feels light, fresh and slightly romantic against the creamy base. Dry clean only, with iron safe care; do not use bleach or fabric softener, and do not tumble dry.
How to use it
Use Mariposa Cream for statement curtains, a feature chair or ottoman, or cushions layered into a soft country-inspired scheme. Its lilac tones work especially well with stone, chalk white and pale timber finishes.
