Maisie green

Midsummer Meadows Fabricmaisie/fa1/sag

Maisie Green is a painterly floral set on a pale, soft green ground that gives the design a fresh, airy feel. The loose leaves and overscaled blooms read clearly against the light background, keeping the overall look bright rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural, lightly textured handle that suits relaxed decorative schemes. The 140cm width makes it practical for curtains, cushions and lighter upholstery pieces where the large floral motif can be shown to advantage. Its horizontal pattern repeat of 68.5cm and vertical repeat of 136.99cm create a substantial, statement-scale layout, with coral-pink and warm orange flowers standing out against the soft moss green ground. Dry clean only, with iron-safe care, and avoid bleach, fabric softener and tumble drying.

How to use it

Use Maisie Green where you want the room to feel fresh and botanical, such as relaxed curtains, scatter cushions or an accent chair. Its cool-leaning green ground and coral blooms pair beautifully with natural wood, cream paintwork and other garden-inspired prints.

A fresh painterly floral that brings an easy, uplifting feel to classic interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Maisie green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
