Ichiyoblossom green

Katsura Fabricichiyob/fa1/sag

Ichiyoblossom Green shows a delicate scattered tree motif across a softly natural ground, with fresh lime circles giving the design its lifted, spring-like feel. The overall effect is airy and contemporary rather than dense or heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a quietly tactile surface and a soft handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The 230gsm weight gives it enough substance for a full drape without feeling bulky, while the 138cm usable width supports practical made-to-measure use. The pattern repeat is 69cm x 69cm, and the repeated tree forms are drawn in muted grey-brown with pale green and soft yellow accents that read as gentle and optimistic on the cloth. The colourway feels cool-toned and subdued overall, with the lime notes adding just enough brightness to stop the pale ground from looking flat.

How to use it

Use Ichiyoblossom Green in rooms that need a light botanical lift, especially against putty, stone or warm white walls. It works well in softly layered schemes where the pale green accents can echo indoor planting and natural timber.

A light, fresh print that suits relaxed drapes or statement cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ichiyoblossom green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
