Ichiyoblossom red
Katsura Fabricichiyob/fa1/mul
Ichiyoblossom Red from Voyage Maison’s Katsura collection pairs a soft grey ground with scattered blossom-like tree motifs in pink, coral, yellow and blush. The design feels airy and painterly, with the coloured rings and buds bringing movement without overwhelming the cloth.

About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a naturally matte, tactile look that suits the gentle print well. At 230gsm, it sits in a versatile mid-weight range and is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, with a 138cm usable width and a 69cm x 69cm pattern repeat. The visible grey background gives Ichiyoblossom Red a muted, contemporary edge, while the rose, apricot and mustard accents read as lifted and lively rather than strong or saturated. Dry clean only care and cool ironing help preserve the soft handle and the clarity of the printed motif.
How to use it
Use this colourway where you want a cheerful note against cooler neutrals, especially soft grey, stone or pale timber. It brings a gentle floral warmth to relaxed bedrooms, living rooms and light-filtering curtains.
The soft grey ground keeps the bright blossom motifs fresh rather than sugary, so it works well in calm contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
