About this fabric

This Kyotogardens fabric has a fluid, lightly textured handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, with a composition of 82% viscose and 18% linen. The design reads as a delicate botanical scatter, but in this colourway the petals pick up plum, wine and dusky red accents rather than a bright primary red. Fine grey-brown stems and small ochre details keep the print airy, while the 117gsm weight helps preserve the fabric’s drape. The repeat is 44cm horizontally and 42.5cm vertically, so the design will show clearly across a larger window or upholstery panel.

How to use it

This muted red version works well in rooms with pale plaster, stone or oak, where the berry tones can add warmth without becoming heavy. Pair it with washed neutrals and deeper burgundy accents for a layered, contemporary look.

Use for relaxed curtains or statement upholstery where the soft red tones can sit against pale walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
