Woven in a blend of 27% Acrylic, 41% Polyester, 24% Cotton and 8% Viscose, Dorset Red has the feel of a practical decorative fabric with a textured surface and a stable, medium-bodied handle. The design reads as a small-to-medium scale pattern, where the red marks sit densely against the pale ground to create a mottled, handcrafted appearance. This colourway leans towards a warm brick red rather than a bright scarlet, so it feels grounded and inviting rather than sharp. It is spot clean only and iron safe, with a width of 140cm and no fire-retardant treatment noted.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or headboard where the warm red pattern can add depth without overwhelming a room. It pairs especially well with natural wood, putty neutrals and darker accent tones that echo the fabric’s earthy brick-red cast.
