Idalia green
Midsummer Meadows Fabricidalia/fa1/sag
Idalia Green has a fresh minty ground that lets the painterly flowers feel light and springlike. The large-scale floral print reads airy rather than dense, with a soft, romantic finish.

About this fabric
This colourway is printed on a 95% cotton, 5% linen cloth, giving it the relaxed handle and lightly nubbled look visible in the weave. The 140cm width and large horizontal and vertical repeat of 68.5cm make it suitable for statement curtains or decorative soft furnishings where the full floral layout can be appreciated. In this swatch, the pale mint background keeps the peach, pink, lilac and yellow blooms crisp and uplifting, with the green foliage sitting softly against the ground. It is dry clean only, iron safe, and should not be bleached, softened or tumble dried.
How to use it
Use Idalia Green in a garden room, bedroom or sitting room where its cool mint ground can brighten natural wood and painted finishes. It works especially well with ivory, pale oak and simple linen textures to keep the scheme fresh.
Pair with natural timber and pale linens to let the painterly florals stay fresh and airy.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Idalia green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
