Amida grey

Kyotogardens Fabricamida/fa1/bam

Amida Grey shows a pale, misty ground with airy leaf forms brushed across the surface in layered greys. The overall effect is calm and luminous, with the pattern reading softly rather than starkly.

About this fabric

Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, this fabric has a light 117gsm handle and a fluid look that makes it especially suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The design repeats on a large scale, with palm-like bursts and faint painterly shadows creating movement across the cloth. In this grey colourway, the ground feels cool and silvery, while the motif shifts between chalky white, smoke grey and deeper graphite accents. It is dry clean only and iron safe, so it is best finished with a neat, tailored drape rather than heavy handling.

How to use it

Use this soft grey on full-length curtains to keep a room feeling bright and composed, especially where the large-scale leaf pattern can breathe. It also works well for blinds or cushions in a scheme of pale woods, stone and deeper charcoal accents.

A cool, airy grey that softens the bold leaf motif and suits tailored drapes or relaxed upholstery alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
