About this fabric

This chenille is woven from 52% acrylic and 48% polyester and is supplied at 138cm wide. Its burgundy-red tone has a wine-like depth, while fine irregular horizontal striations give the surface visible movement. Small warm gold flecks are dispersed across the cloth rather than forming a bold repeating motif. Rated Domestic for upholstery, it has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; professional aftercare is specified.

How to use it

Use this deep burgundy colourway to give an armchair, dining chair or sofa a rich focal presence. The scattered gold flecks can be echoed with aged brass details, while the subdued striated texture keeps the red from appearing flat.

A richly coloured burgundy chenille with subtle gold flecks, suited to statement domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
