IMP1571

Imperiale FabricIMP1571

IMP1571 has a pale sage-grey ground with softly varied horizontal yarns and slim, patterned bands that bring quiet definition to the surface. Its gentle contrast reads more atmospheric than graphic, with warm oat tones appearing through the weave.

About this fabric

This chenille combines 52% acrylic with 48% polyester and is supplied at 138cm wide for domestic upholstery. The colourway sits between cool sage, soft grey and muted oat, giving the horizontal stripe a lightly weathered, understated depth. Narrow chevron-like decorative bands punctuate the broader plain stripes, while the close chenille texture catches the light without becoming glossy. Aftercare is professional; it has domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the muted sage-grey tone on a tailored sofa, headboard or occasional chair, pairing it with warm ivory, aged oak and brushed metal. The restrained horizontal bands work particularly well where a room needs pattern with a calm, low-contrast finish.

A softly aged sage-grey chenille stripe for relaxed, tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
