LAN1263

Lana FabricLAN1263

LAN1263 is a richly muted burgundy chenille with a softly heathered surface and an understated olive check. The dark red ground gives the colourway a warm, grounded depth, while the fine intersecting lines add definition without dominating the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester chenille, LAN1263 combines a deep burgundy-red ground with subdued olive and brown lines forming regular windowpane checks. The chenille surface appears softly brushed and lightly mottled, allowing the dark colour to shift gently across the weave rather than reading as flat. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this dark burgundy and olive colourway on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its muted check can sit comfortably beside aged timber, leather and warm neutral walls. Its low-key contrast also makes it effective as a grounding upholstery fabric in rooms with brass, walnut or earthy green accents.

A deep burgundy chenille check with olive detailing, suited to upholstered seating in relaxed, traditionally styled rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
