Lana FabricLAN1258

LAN1258 is a richly layered tartan chenille, led by deep burgundy checks with olive, mustard and muted teal-green crossings. Fine charcoal and blue-grey lines sharpen the woven plaid while the textured surface softens the contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester chenille, this 138cm-wide fabric has a medium-scale tartan made from burgundy, olive, mustard, teal-green and charcoal threads. The red ground reads deep and slightly muted rather than bright, while the olive and ochre blocks add an earthy counterpoint. Its visibly textured chenille weave gives the checks a softly blended edge and catches the light across the darker burgundy areas. LAN1258 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use LAN1258 on a feature armchair, footstool or sofa in a room with warm timber, aged brass and olive-painted details. Its burgundy depth works especially well with neutral walls, while the mustard and teal lines provide controlled accents for cushions or piping.

A richly coloured chenille tartan that brings burgundy depth and olive contrast to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
