About this fabric

This substantial 526 gsm fabric has a closely built appearance, with 36 threads per centimetre creating a tactile, high-density woven surface suited to upholstery. Its dark moss ground reads cooler and more muted than a bright green, while the ivory zigzags lift the overall tone without making it feel pale. Fine blue marks and occasional rust-gold flecks appear within the weave, giving the colourway a subtly weathered depth. The pattern repeat is compact at 1 cm vertically and 3 cm horizontally, and the usable width is 125 cm.

How to use it

Use Banyan Moss on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep olive tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and softly coloured plains to draw out the ivory and rust flecks without losing the fabric’s charcoal depth.

The dense moss, charcoal and ivory weave brings graphic texture to upholstered seating while the blue and rust flecks add subtle colour depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
