About this fabric

This 300gsm fabric is woven with an intricate symmetrical damask of curling foliage, stylised leaves and compact floral details over a red ground. Its antique-gold and olive-gold pattern has a softly aged character rather than a bright metallic finish, allowing the brick red beneath to remain visually prominent. With 97 threads per cm, the cloth has a closely constructed appearance suited to the substantial scale of the design. The usable width is 140 cm, with a 72.5 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat for careful pattern placement on upholstery.

How to use it

Use Brocatello Red on a statement armchair, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its warm red depth can anchor a room. Pair it with aged timber, antique brass and quiet neutral walls to balance the ornate gold scrolling without competing with it.
