About this fabric

The design is a formal damask of scrolling foliage, curled acanthus-like forms and floral ornament, woven in closely related cream and golden-beige tones. Its 300 gsm weight and 97 threads per cm give the cloth a substantial, closely woven presence suited to upholstery. The pattern repeats over 72.5 cm vertically and 70 cm horizontally, creating a clearly ordered layout when applied to a chair, headboard or upholstered panel. Light cream motifs sit gently against the warmer gold ground, giving this colourway a mellow, softly luminous depth.

How to use it

Use Brocatello Cream on a buttoned chair, dining seat or headboard where its warm cream-and-gold tone can sit alongside aged timber, brushed brass and softly coloured walls. Keep surrounding textiles quiet to let the ornate repeat provide the room’s main decorative focus.
