EMP535

Emporio FabricEMP535

EMP535 presents a deep charcoal-grey ground with a finely woven, irregular grid that gives the surface a softly textured, linen-like appearance. Pale threads catch across the darker base, creating gentle tonal variation rather than a high-contrast check.

About this fabric

This Emporio colourway is a 100% polyester faux linen supplied at 138cm wide, with a close woven texture and understated crosshatch pattern visible across the swatch. The charcoal-grey tone reads cool and composed, while the lighter threads add a lightly mottled finish that stops the colour from appearing flat. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, it offers a practical specification for seating, cushions and other covered pieces. EMP535 is machine washable, and its flame-retardancy rating is Domestic Cig & Match; it can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair the cool charcoal-grey weave with pale stone, putty or soft grey upholstery details to emphasise its tonal grid. Its tailored surface also works well against warm timber, brushed metal and darker accent colours.

Use the charcoal-grey checked weave on tailored seating, cushions or relaxed full-length curtains for a quietly structured scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
