About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this velvet has a close, subtly varied surface that shifts gently between cool grey tones rather than reading as a flat solid. At 138cm wide, it is graded for domestic upholstery and offers a practical machine-washable aftercare option. The supplied flame-retardancy specification is Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. The understated colour and low-key texture make this a composed choice where a grey upholstery fabric needs some visual softness.

How to use it

Use this cool mottled grey on a sofa, armchair or dining seat to establish a calm, contemporary base. Pair it with pale timber, brushed metal and blue-grey or stone accents to draw out its cooler tonal character.
