About this fabric
This Larsen Kara fabric is woven in a composition of 37% cotton, 31% viscose, 22% polyester and 10% acrylic, giving the cloth a crisp, structured feel with a soft surface sheen. The pattern reads as narrow horizontal charcoal bands interrupted by slender ivory threads, creating a measured stripe that feels more tailored than decorative. At approximately 133cm wide, with a vertical repeat of about 2cm and a horizontal repeat of about 17cm, it has a regular rhythm that works well across larger upholstered pieces or window treatments. The dark grey ground is muted rather than black, so the lighter lines sit clearly on the surface without feeling stark. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Moroni Charcoal to sharpen a scheme with pale oak, concrete, or chalky neutrals, letting the stripe add subtle structure rather than strong contrast. It is especially effective on streamlined upholstery, blind facings, or interlined curtains where the charcoal tone can sit calmly in the light.
