About this fabric

This Kara fabric by Larsen is composed of 37% Cotton, 31% Viscose, 22% Polyester and 10% Acrylic, with an approximate width of 133cm and a repeat of V 2cm / H 17cm. The swatch reads as a gentle desert beige, with creamy undertones and slightly deeper taupe-gold pinstripes that create quiet rhythm across the surface. Its texture appears lightly slubbed and matte, so the design feels relaxed rather than glossy. With its measured stripe and compact repeat, it brings a calm, structured finish without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use Moroni Desert on an upholstered armchair, headboard or pelmet where the warm beige tone can soften sharper architectural lines. It also works well for relaxed curtains in a scheme of oak, linen and brushed brass.

A soft neutral with enough texture to bring quiet depth to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
