Kenya FabricL9285-01
Kayar Camel shows a softly irregular wavy stripe in warm camel brown across a creamy beige ground. The small-scale pattern reads gently rhythmic and lightly textured, with an easy, sun-baked feel.

About this fabric
This colourway from Larsen’s Kenya collection is woven in 45% viscose, 34% cotton and 21% acrylic, with a width of approx. 140cm and a repeat of V 76cm / H 36cm approx. The surface visible here is matte and tactile rather than glossy, with the brown motif sitting just above the pale ground for a subtle, slubbed effect. Kayar Camel feels distinctly warm: the camel tone is softened by beige and cream, so the design looks earthy without becoming heavy. It is a textile fabric with no performance features noted, and the balanced handle makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery use.
How to use it
Use Kayar Camel to bring warmth to a sofa, occasional chair or roman blind, especially in rooms with oak, rattan or other natural finishes. Its gentle camel-and-cream palette works well as a quiet patterned layer alongside plain linens, plaster tones and timber.
A warm neutral with subtle texture that brings easy, understated character to both upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kayar Camel without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
