About this fabric

The compact, irregular weave gives this textile a softly nubby, almost pebble-like appearance rather than a flat finish. Its camel base sits between beige and light brown, with creamy threads lifting the surface and adding gentle visual variation. The horizontal folds shown in the swatch create alternating bands of light and shadow, emphasising the fabric’s substantial-looking texture. With no performance features or further specifications supplied, its suitability here is judged from the visibly dense, hard-wearing-looking weave.

How to use it

Use Gulou Camel on a relaxed armchair, sofa or footstool where its warm beige tone can soften darker wood, aged leather and natural stone. Pair it with ivory, oat and muted terracotta accents to draw out the weave’s creamy highlights and earthy depth.
