Wabi Pearl

Kochi FabricL9425-03

Wabi Pearl is a quietly luminous neutral with a soft pearl-beige cast and a finely textured, linen-led surface. The plain weave reads calm and understated, with just enough visual grain to keep the cloth from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in a 140cm approx width, this fabric combines 53% Linen, 19% Cotton, 16% Viscose, 8% Polyamide and 4% Acrylic, giving the cloth its natural matte look with a gentle, diffused sheen in the lighter threads. The repeat is listed as V 0cm / H 0cm approx, which suits the understated, non-directional character visible in the swatch. Wabi Pearl sits in a warm pearl-beige range, with a slightly chalky tone that softens the weave and makes the texture read clearly in close view. The overall effect is relaxed and versatile, with enough body for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery use.

How to use it

Use this soft beige as a grounding fabric on a sofa or headboard, then pair it with oak, stone and brushed metal for a calm layered room. Its pearly warmth also works well for curtains where a quiet, light-filtering neutral is wanted.

A calm, easy neutral that works across seating, curtains and layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
