Honami Sand

Kyoto FabricL9415-03

Honami Sand shows Kyoto’s flowing abstract motif in a soft sand-beige palette, with ivory shapes drifting across a warm natural ground. The effect is calm and airy, with a gentle textural finish visible in the weave.

About this fabric

Honami Sand is a patterned fabric from Larsen’s Kyoto collection, with a repeat of approx. V 91cm and H 132cm and a width of approx. 132cm. Its composition of 38% cotton, 29% polyester, 18% viscose and 15% linen gives the surface a soft, cloth-like handle and a subtle natural texture. In this colourway, the design reads as warm sand and cream rather than a strong contrast, so the broad organic bands feel relaxed and understated. The pale ground lifts the motif and keeps the overall look fresh, while the layered fibres add a quietly refined finish. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair Honami Sand with chalky neutrals, oak and woven textures for a soft contemporary room. It works especially well where you want pattern without losing the lightness of a beige scheme.

Use with pale oak, linen and soft white for an easy, light-filled scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
