About this fabric

This colourway sits between beige and muted taupe, with a dry, sun-warmed look rather than a glossy gold cast. The velvet pile catches the light subtly, creating a soft tonal movement across the plain surface. Woven in a durable composition of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is designed for both contract and general domestic upholstery. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test and FR compliance to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, it is a practical choice where a refined neutral is needed. The 137cm width and plain repeat make it straightforward for curtains, loose covers or fixed upholstery alike.

How to use it

Use Sandcastle on a sofa or banquette to introduce warmth without overpowering a room, especially alongside oak, linen and aged brass. It also works beautifully for relaxed curtains where the soft beige tone can glow in natural daylight.
