About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as a restrained sage olive, with a subtle golden undertone that keeps it warm rather than grey. The pile looks dense and supple, making the colour appear slightly deeper in the shadows and a touch lighter where the nap catches the light. It is suitable for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, and the contract/general domestic rating is backed by a 100,000 Martindale rub test. The composition of 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose gives it the practical body expected of a hard-working velvet, while the 137cm width supports larger upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use this sage tone on a tailored sofa, ottoman or banquette for a composed, contemporary look. It pairs especially well with pale timber, stone neutrals and brass or aged bronze accents.
