About this fabric

This plain velvet has a dense, even pile that catches the light softly, giving the surface a dark green depth with an almost blackened edge in the shadows. It is composed of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and is designed for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and upholstery grading for Contract and General Domestic use, it is a highly durable choice for seating as well as window treatments. The 137cm width and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 fire rating make it practical for both domestic and contract schemes.

How to use it

Use this rainforest green to add depth to a neutral room, especially on a sofa, banquette or wrapped headboard. It also works beautifully as curtains where the dark velvet finish can create a cocooning, tailored look.
