About this fabric

This Raindrop colourway reads as a cool, washed sage with a subtle grey undertone, rather than a bright green. As a plain velvet, the surface has an even, tactile finish that picks up light in a smooth, understated way. It is supplied at 137cm wide and is suitable for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, with a contract and general domestic upholstery grade. The fabric also carries an abrasion result of 100,000 Martindale and conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use it where you want colour without glare: it suits upholstered seating, relaxed headboards and full-length curtains in rooms with pale woods, stone or chalky neutrals. The cool sage tone keeps it fresh and airy while still feeling upholstered and substantial.

A calm sage velvet that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or softly lined curtains.
