About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm dusty pink with terracotta undertones, deepened by the velvet pile so it shifts gently in the light. Made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it has the practical look and handle of a modern performance velvet without losing softness. The 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for demanding seating as well as curtains and loose covers. At 137cm wide with a plain pattern repeat, it is an easy, versatile cloth for schemes that need colour, durability and a refined finish. It also carries an A FR rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use Rosewood on an armchair, banquette or upholstered headboard where its muted warmth can soften sharper architectural lines. It pairs especially well with chalk white, taupe, deep walnut and brushed brass for a tailored, grown-up scheme.

A warm, contemporary rose tone that adds depth to tailored seating and polished interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
