About this fabric

Pluto Linen from Linwood’s Pluto collection is a plain fabric with a calm, tactile weave and a narrow vertical slub running through the surface. The blend of 30% cotton, 25% viscose, 15% linen and 30% wool gives it a dry, natural handle with just enough softness for a refined finish. At 137cm wide, and with a Martindale rub test of 40,000, it is suitable for contract and general domestic upholstery as well as curtains, loose covers and fixed upholstery. The muted olive tone is warm rather than bright, sitting between sage and khaki with a low-sheen look that feels quietly tailored.

How to use it

Use this olive colourway with warm oak, aged brass and plaster-white walls for a grounded, modern scheme. It works especially well on relaxed upholstery or lined curtains where the subtle vertical texture can be appreciated.

A versatile muted olive that feels calm and tailored in either curtains or upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
