Omega Velvet 4 Mink

Omega Velvet 4 Velvet013

Omega Velvet 4 Mink is a quietly sophisticated velvet in a deep olive-mink shade, with a soft matte-lustre that shifts subtly in the light. Its plain surface and plush finish give the colour real depth rather than a flat brown or green.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a dark, muted olive with brown-mink undertones, creating a grounded, tailored look on the surface of the velvet. The fabric is specified at 137cm wide and made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, giving it a practical handle for everyday use. With a Martindale rating of 100,000 and upholstery grading for contract and general domestic schemes, it is well suited to fixed or loose cover seating as well as curtains. It also carries A rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the cared-for finish is supported by dry-clean and 30°C wash guidance.

How to use it

Use this shade on a clean-lined sofa, ottoman or dining chairs for a restrained, upscale scheme. It pairs especially well with weathered oak, brass and soft limestone tones, where the olive-mink depth feels warm and architectural.

A rich, hard-wearing neutral for tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

Omega Velvet 4 Mink is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
