About this fabric

This colourway shows a dense, even velvet surface with a subtle directional sheen that lifts the mustard shade as the light moves across it. The 137cm width and plain pattern make it straightforward for upholstery projects, while the 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic rating underline its durability. It is composed of 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, and carries an FR rating conforming to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1. The tone is a warm, mellow yellow with a slightly earthy depth, so it feels more tailored and substantial than bright.

How to use it

Use this mustard velvet on a compact sofa, occasional chair or ottoman where its warm glow can anchor the room. It pairs well with walnut timber, cream linens and darker greens for a grounded, layered scheme.
