About this fabric

Woven in a 30% Cotton, 25% Viscose, 15% Linen, 30% Wool blend, Pluto Butterscotch has the reassuring body of a fabric made for real interiors. The 40,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for loose cover and fixed upholstery as well as curtains. Visually, the colour sits between mustard and mellow gold, with a slightly dry, linen-like texture and lighter thread flecks that stop the surface from reading flat. It is supplied at approximately 137cm wide and the plain pattern repeat keeps the look clean and easy to work with.

How to use it

Use this butterscotch tone to warm up timber furniture, oatmeal linens, or sage accents, where its golden cast can add depth without turning brash. It works especially well in rooms that need a soft hit of colour with a natural, textured finish.

A sunny butterscotch tone that brings warmth to upholstery or curtains without feeling too loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
