About this fabric

This plain fabric has a lively, thread-dense weave that catches the light in fine vertical flecks, softening the golden tone into a mellow flaxen shade. The composition of 30% cotton, 25% viscose, 15% linen and 30% wool gives it a naturally textured look with enough body for loose covers and fixed upholstery, as well as curtains. With a Martindale rub test of 40,000 and an upholstery grade of Contract, General Domestic, it is suited to hard-working interiors. The 137cm width and plain repeat make it straightforward to pattern match, while the BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 rating supports practical specification. Dry clean only, with stain resistant performance noted, helps preserve the richness of the colourway.

How to use it

Use this shade to warm oak, cane and aged brass, or pair it with chalky neutrals for a sunnier, more refined scheme. Its muted gold tone works especially well when you want colour that feels present but not loud.
