About this fabric

This Linwood velvet is woven in a practical blend of 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, and it is supplied at 137cm wide. The fabric is contract and general domestic suitable, with a Martindale rub test of 100,000, making it a strong choice for hard-working interiors. Its BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 FR rating adds reassurance for upholstery use, while the plain pattern keeps the focus on the colour. Mineral reads here as a cool sage-green with a softly powdery undertone, giving the velvet a calm, understated finish rather than a bright or saturated look. Care is straightforward for a velvet of this type: dry clean, or wash with care at 30C, with stain resistance noted.

How to use it

Use this mineral tone on a tailored sofa, banquette or armchair for a fresh but grounded look. It also works beautifully for curtains where the cool sage hue can soften daylight without feeling heavy.
