About this fabric

Omega Velvet 4 Lava from Linwood’s Omega IV collection is a velvet with a smooth, closely piled surface and a plain appearance. The swatch shows a very dark olive tone, almost black in low light, with gentler green notes surfacing where the pile catches the light. It is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, with a 137cm width and a robust 100,000 Martindale rub test. The composition of 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose gives it a practical handle, while the A FR rating to BS5852 Part 1 makes it suitable for domestic and contract schemes.

How to use it

Use this deep olive velvet on an armchair, banquette or formal curtains where you want a darker, cocooning colour with a polished finish. It pairs especially well with warm woods, brass and soft neutrals that lift its shadowy green depth.
