About this fabric

This Oregano colourway has a muted, herbal olive tone that feels warm rather than bright, giving the velvet a settled, upholstered look. The pile catches light softly, creating a tonal variation across the plain surface without any visible pattern. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is suitable for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test, a BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 fire rating, and contract as well as general domestic upholstery grades, it is built for demanding interior use. At 137cm wide and washable with care at 30C, it balances practical performance with the cocooning feel of a classic velvet.

How to use it

Use this olive velvet on a tailored armchair, banquette, or full-height curtains where its warm green depth can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with oak, brass and natural linens for a composed, layered scheme.

A grounded olive velvet that adds depth and warmth to tailored seating or quiet drapery schemes.

Pairs well with

Omega Velvet 4 Oregano is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
