Strings Oregano

Heir Fabric

Strings Oregano has a quietly graphic surface, formed from broken stepped bands in muted oregano olive and pale straw tones. Its dense, tactile weave gives the colourway a softly layered appearance as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

The image shows a dense woven fabric built from small, irregular horizontal steps rather than a sharply outlined pattern. Muted oregano olive forms the dominant ground, while lighter straw-beige threads bring gentle contrast and keep the shade from reading flat or overly dark. The compact motif and subtly ribbed surface give this colourway a structured, considered character suited to upholstery. It is supplied as a fabric, with no performance features noted.

How to use it

Pair this subdued oregano olive with chalky beige, aged oak and softly contrasting natural textures; its stepped pattern works particularly well on a tailored occasional chair or upholstered headboard.

Use the muted oregano olive tone on occasional chairs, headboards or cushions alongside warm neutrals and natural wood.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
