Honami Ocean shows a soft, wave-like pattern in chalky off-white across a muted blue ground. The irregular horizontal bands give the design a calm, drifting movement with a slightly brushed textile look.

About this fabric

This Kyoto fabric from Larsen is composed of 38% Cotton, 29% Polyester, 18% Viscose and 15% Linen, with an approximate width of 132cm and a large repeat of V 91cm / H 132cm. In Honami Ocean, the ground reads as a cool, greyed blue with a low-sheen, softly textured surface, while the pattern sits in a pale, creamy white that feels crisp rather than stark. The broad, meandering stripes create a fluid rhythm across the cloth, and the weave has enough body to hold the motif clearly without looking stiff. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical decorative textile for interiors that want a calm but graphic accent.

How to use it

Use this colourway for relaxed curtains, blinds or light decorative upholstery where the blue can read like a softened seascape. It works especially well with white paint, pale oak and stone tones, letting the flowing motif take centre stage.

Pair with chalky neutrals and pale timber to keep the wave-like pattern feeling fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
