Kara Shell shows a softly layered botanical pattern in warm shell beige, cream and pale taupe tones. The repeated leaf forms read calm and airy, with a woven texture that keeps the design feeling tailored rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is composed of 45% viscose, 21% polyester, 17% linen, 11% wool and 6% cotton, giving the cloth a natural-looking body with a refined surface. At approximately 135cm wide and with a vertical repeat of 47cm and horizontal repeat of 45cm, the design is scaled for coordinated upholstery or drapery use. The Shell colourway is a very soft beige with creamy highlights and muted taupe linework, so the leaf motif sits quietly against the ground rather than creating high contrast. Its dry, woven handle and gentle tonal variation make it feel relaxed and softly decorative.

How to use it

Use Kara Shell where you want pattern without visual weight: it would suit pale upholstered chairs, bench cushions or full-length curtains in a calm scheme. The shell-beige palette pairs especially well with linen whites, driftwood tones and brushed brass.

A gentle neutral with a leafy motif that works well on statement upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kara Shell without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
