About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is woven at approximately 135cm wide and has a vertical repeat of 47cm and horizontal repeat of 45cm, giving the leaf design a steady, structured rhythm. The composition blends 45% viscose, 21% polyester, 17% linen, 11% wool and 6% cotton, which helps explain the fabric’s softly textured, lightly dry handle and the subtle depth in the weave. In Birch, the palette sits in warm beige, oat and mushroom tones, with lighter cream leaves lifting the pattern against a mellow ground. The result is a refined botanical that reads gentle rather than high-contrast, with enough detail to feel decorative without becoming busy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Kara Birch for relaxed smart curtains, tailored cushions or an occasional chair where its warm beige ground will keep the room feeling light. It pairs especially well with pale oak, putty paintwork and other natural textures.

A warm neutral that feels polished on drapes or an accent chair.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kara Birch without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
