Coborn Mole is a quietly refined woven fabric with a deep mole-brown ground and a soft, low-contrast texture. The surface reads smooth from a distance, then reveals fine woven detail up close.

About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric is part of Essential Weaves Vol 1 and is specified for drapes only, with a 67% polyester and 33% cotton composition. At 140cm wide and 347gsm, it has enough substance to hang neatly while still keeping the fabric looking supple rather than stiff. The visible colour is a warm, muted mole brown with a slightly heathered depth that softens the overall finish. Its fine textured weave and small 1.5 vertical repeat give the surface a subtle, tailored character without a pronounced pattern.

How to use it

Use Coborn Mole for full-length curtains, interlined roman blinds, or simple wave headings where the colour can read as a calm, grounded backdrop. It works especially well with stone, ecru and dark timber finishes, where its warm brown tone feels rich but understated.

A muted mole tone that gives curtains a tailored, quietly elegant finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
