Chelton Pewter
Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1CHELTON
Chelton in Pewter shows a softly structured grid of small rounded squares and fine connecting lines, all in a cool, muted grey. The effect is subtle and architectural rather than bold, with the pattern sitting quietly into the cloth.

About this fabric
Woven in 57% polyester and 43% cotton, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for drapes only and has a substantial 357gsm handle. The 140cm width and 24cm vertical by 23cm horizontal repeat suit made-to-measure curtains where the small geometric motif can be cut with care. Visually, the pewter colouring is pale and cool, with a low-contrast chalky ground that keeps the square pattern soft rather than sharp. The overall finish feels tailored and restrained, with enough texture to give the surface depth without overpowering a room.
How to use it
Use Chelton Pewter for elegant curtains in a scheme with limestone, pale oak and brushed steel, where the cool grey will keep the room feeling crisp. It also works well in a study or sitting room needing a quiet geometric with a refined, understated mood.
A cool pewter tone that reads clean and tailored in layered interiors.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chelton Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
