Camley Pewter

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1CAMLEY

Camley Pewter shows a soft pewter-grey ground patterned with a fine linked lattice in a warmer metallic tone. The small-scale geometric repeat gives the fabric a neat, ordered look with a subtle hint of sheen.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, Camley Pewter has a reassuringly substantial handle at 329 g per linear metre and a width of 140 cm. The surface reads as a calm, muted grey with a gentle lavender cast in the base, while the interlocking motif catches the light in a slightly warmer, champagne-like line. Its 8 cm vertical repeat and 6 cm horizontal repeat create a compact rhythm that feels precise rather than busy. With no rub test noted and a country of origin of India, this is a decorative window fabric chosen for appearance and drape rather than upholstery wear.

How to use it

Use it for tailored curtains, Roman blinds or full-length drapes where the pewter ground can sit quietly behind stronger upholstery choices. It pairs especially well with soft white, charcoal, deep blue or brushed metal finishes for a composed, contemporary scheme.

A refined pewter weave that adds quiet pattern and works well in tailored window schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
