Burman Graphite

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1BURMAN

Burman Graphite is a cool, softly muted grey with a fine geometric surface that reads crisp and orderly across the full width. The small-scale motif gives the fabric a neat, tailored look rather than a heavy contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Burman Graphite is supplied as a drapes-only fabric with a 140cm width and a substantial 316 grams per linear metre (226 gsm). The tiny 2cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat creates a closely packed lattice effect that feels precise and understated. In this colourway, the grey sits between charcoal and stone, with a gentle matte softness that keeps the design calm rather than stark. The surface texture is tight and even, so the pattern shows clearly without becoming busy at distance. Made in India, it is a practical choice where a smart, controlled finish is wanted at the window.

How to use it

Use Burman Graphite for relaxed tailored curtains, Roman blinds or layered sheers in rooms that need a sharper edge. Its cool graphite tone pairs well with pale plaster, black accents and natural oak.

A restrained graphite weave that gives curtains a crisp, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
