About this fabric

This colourway reads as a blue-leaning grey rather than a warm neutral, giving it a crisp, calm character. Tiny irregular flecks run throughout the closely woven surface, creating a subtle pebble-like texture instead of a distinct printed motif. The colour shifts gently between softer grey and deeper blue-grey as the textured weave catches and absorbs the light. Its visually compact surface makes the fabric particularly well suited to tailored upholstery where quiet texture is preferred.

How to use it

Pair Beaufort Fiord with pale timber, chalky whites and brushed metal for a cool, contemporary scheme. It also works as a composed neutral on an occasional chair or sofa, adding texture without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this cool blue-grey weave to bring calm, understated texture to sofas, chairs and ottomans.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
