About this fabric

This Shelley colourway has a cool, pale grey tone that sits close to silver in stronger light, with a softened chalky look in shade. The surface shows a fine, even texture rather than a pronounced weave, which keeps the design understated and smart. At approximately 138cm wide, and woven in 64% Polyester, 32% Viscose and 4% Cotton, it has the practical feel of a decorative fabric that can be used successfully for both upholstery and curtains. The repeat is effectively none at V 0cm / H 0cm approx, so the finish reads as a clean, continuous ground rather than a patterned textile.

How to use it

Use this pale grey to quieten a room with natural oak, white-painted joinery or brushed metal details. It is especially effective where you want a light backdrop that still feels tailored and slightly textured.

A quiet pale grey that feels crisp and versatile across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
