About this fabric

Woven in a 64% Polyester, 32% Viscose, 4% Cotton blend, Shelley Orange has a tactile, small-scale surface that feels robust and tailored. The fabric is approximately 138cm wide, with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, so the effect is an even all-over texture rather than a motif-led design. Its burnt orange tone is softened by subtle lighter fibres, creating a warm terracotta look that catches the light gently. With no performance features noted, it is best considered for decorative upholstery where colour and texture are the focus.

How to use it

Use this shade on a statement armchair, bench cushion or headboard to bring warmth to pale neutrals, oak and weathered brass. It also adds a rich, autumnal note beside chalky greens or deep brown timber.

A warm, textured orange that works well on compact upholstery pieces and adds cosy depth to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
