About this fabric

This Shelley colourway has a pale pearl-cream ground with a faintly warm undertone, so the surface feels soft and diffused rather than stark white. The close woven texture is visible across the cloth, giving it a restrained tactile depth that catches the light in a quiet way. It is a practical 138cm-wide fabric composed of 64% polyester, 32% viscose and 4% cotton, with vertical and horizontal repeats both at 0cm approx. With no performance features noted, it presents as a smart, adaptable textile for schemes that need an easy neutral with a refined finish.

How to use it

Use it for tailored upholstery, Roman blinds or relaxed curtains where a pale, pearl-toned neutral will keep the room feeling light. It pairs especially well with oak, limestone and muted greys, where the soft cream base adds warmth without heaviness.

A quietly elegant pearl cream that lifts a room without feeling stark.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
