About this fabric

Woven in 64% Polyester, 32% Viscose and 4% Cotton, Shelley Linen has a lightly slubbed, tactile finish that gives the surface quiet depth without any obvious pattern repeat. The swatch shows a soft linen cream with a gently warmed undertone, so it feels lighter than beige but less sharp than white. At approximately 138cm wide with no vertical or horizontal repeat, it is straightforward to work into a range of interior projects. The handle and texture suggest a versatile cloth that can sit comfortably on upholstery or at the window, while the Q 8 + T 3 care code and K fire code add useful practical context.

How to use it

Use this muted cream to bring warmth to pale timber, painted joinery and natural flooring. It works especially well where you want texture and brightness without a crisp, high-contrast white.

A gentle neutral with enough texture to soften a room and work across upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
